This policy explains what personal information Stechaide Solutions collects when you use our website, why we collect it, how we protect it, and the choices you have. We have written it in plain language rather than legal jargon. If anything here is unclear, contact us and we will explain it.

Information we collect
Information you give us
We only collect what you choose to send us. Depending on which form you use, this may include:
- Contact form: your name, email address, phone number, the service you are interested in, and your message.
- Consultation booking: your name, email address, phone number, preferred date and time, the service you need, and any notes you add.
- Project enquiry from a pricing package: your name, business name, phone number, email address, the type of project, your project description, your preferred start date, and the package you selected.
- Newsletter signup: your email address only.
- WhatsApp: if you contact us through the WhatsApp buttons on our site, your WhatsApp number and messages are visible to us. That conversation happens on WhatsApp and is also governed by their own privacy policy.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the site, our server, security tools and analytics record limited technical information:
- Your IP address, used to prevent spam and to limit repeated form submissions from the same source.
- Standard server logs such as your browser type, the pages you visited, and the date and time.
- Failed login attempts to our administration area, recorded by our security plugin.
- Analytics data about how the site is used: pages viewed, approximate location (usually city level), device and browser type, and the website or advert that brought you here.
How you found us
When you arrive from an advert, a search result or a link, our website records the page you landed on and any campaign tags in the web address (commonly called UTM parameters). If you then send us an enquiry, that information is saved alongside it so we can tell which of our campaigns are working. It tells us the source of the enquiry, not anything additional about you personally.

We do not use your information for automated decision making, and we will not use your enquiry details to market unrelated services without asking you first.
Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. This site uses the following categories:

- You can control the adverts Google shows you, including turning off personalised advertising, at Google My Ad Center.
- You can opt out of Google Analytics entirely using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Who has access to it
Your information stays within Stechaide Solutions and the service providers that operate our systems:
- Our web hosting provider, which stores the website and its database on secure servers.
- Email delivery, used to send form notifications to our team and confirmation messages to you.
- Google, which provides our website analytics and advertising measurement.
- WhatsApp (Meta), if you choose to contact us through WhatsApp.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone. We only disclose it if the law requires it, or if we genuinely need to in order to protect our rights or someone else’s safety.
Information sent outside Kenya
Some of the providers above, including Google and WhatsApp, process data on servers outside Kenya. Where that happens we rely on the safeguards those providers put in place for international transfers, and we share only what the service needs in order to work. If you would prefer your data not to be processed this way, you can use the cookie controls above, or contact us by phone or email instead of using the website forms.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries and bookings that do not become projects: up to 24 months, so we can follow up if you come back to us.
- Client project records: for the duration of our working relationship and up to 7 years afterwards, for accounting and legal purposes.
- Newsletter subscriptions: until you unsubscribe.
- Analytics and advertising data: held by Google under their own retention settings, typically up to 14 months for detailed records.
- Security and spam prevention records: short term only, typically no more than a few weeks.
You can ask us to delete your information sooner. See your rights below.
Your rights
Under Kenya’s Data Protection Act, 2019, you have the right to:
- Be told what personal data we hold about you and why.
- Ask for a copy of that data.
- Ask us to correct anything that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Ask us to delete your data where there is no good reason for us to keep it.
- Object to how we are using it, or ask us to restrict that use.
- Withdraw your consent at any time, for anything you consented to.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@stechaidesolutions.com with your request. We will respond within 30 days. There is no charge. If you are not satisfied with how we handle your request, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner of Kenya.
How we protect your information
Our website runs over an encrypted HTTPS connection, access to the administration area is restricted and protected against repeated login attempts, and form submissions are checked for spam before they reach us. No system is completely secure, so we also limit what we collect in the first place and keep it only as long as we need it. If a breach ever affected your personal data, we would notify you and the relevant authority as required by law.
Children
Our services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Links to other websites
Our site links to client projects and other external websites. Once you follow those links, this policy no longer applies. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of any site you visit.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Significant changes will be highlighted on the site.
